TELTLK Officially Secures U.S. MSB License

HONG KONG — TELTLK, a rising platform in the Web3 and digital asset space, announced today that it has officially obtained the Money Services Business (MSB) license issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

The acquisition of the MSB license marks a significant milestone in TELTLK’s global compliance roadmap, granting it legal status to provide money services — including digital asset transactions — within the United States.

“Securing the MSB license further solidifies our commitment to regulatory compliance and global expansion,” the TELTLK team said in its official statement.

What Is the MSB License?

The MSB license is required for companies that engage in money transmission, currency exchange, or digital asset services involving U.S. customers. It is overseen by FinCEN, which enforces anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) laws under the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

While not sufficient on its own to fully operate as a regulated exchange, the MSB license is a critical first step toward legal digital asset operations in the U.S. Many major players in the crypto space — including Coinbase, Huobi, and OKX — also hold the license.

Since 2018, FinCEN has explicitly required virtual currency exchanges and administrators serving U.S. users to register as MSBs.

The Significance of the License

✅ Global Recognition — U.S. regulatory frameworks are among the most mature globally. A U.S. MSB license boosts investor trust and credibility.

✅ Expanded Operations — The license allows TELTLK to legally provide services in the U.S. and extend its offerings internationally under FinCEN’s oversight.

✅ Path to Becoming a Tier-1 Platform — Holding an MSB aligns TELTLK with leading exchanges like Bitfinex and Poloniex, further positioning it on the global stage.

✅ More Versatile Services — The MSB license enables TELTLK to offer currency transmission and exchange services, paving the way for a more diverse product suite for users.
